Abstract

The article outlines the competence approach issues to the professional competence formation of the future managers of physical culture and sports. Defined the problem conceptual apparatus is defined. Peculiarities of the professional competence formation process of such specialists are found out, which are caused by reorien- tation of physical education and sport from the administrative-planning management model to the market one that imposes high demands on modern in this field specialists training.
