The article touches upon the problem of training competent specialists in the field of professional activity. High demands are placed on modern students of higher educational institutions. There is a need for specialists of a new type, the main characteristics of which are: high-level professional qualification, readiness for self-development, the ability to critically and creatively think, manifested in solving professional problems of a different nature.
