METHODS OF FORMING GENERAL PHYSICAL ENDURANCE OF THE OFFICERS OF THE NATIONAL POLICE OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The author of this work covers the issues related to the specifics of service in the National Police of Ukraine, to the main tasks during physical training as a part of service training. The author has improved the methods of the formation and development of general physical endurance of the officers of the National Police of Ukraine using the principles and methods of the development and education of physical qualities. The concepts of the development and education of police officers’ physical abilities have been revealed. A comparative analysis of the concept of “physical endurance” from the point of view of scholars has been accomplished. The clas- sification of physical endurance into general and special, training and competition, local, regional and global, aerobic and anaerobic, alactate and lactate, muscular and autonomic, sensory and emotional, static and dynamic, speed and power has been provided. The characteristics of physical exercises according to the energy value have been provided. The author has accomplished the classification of the fatigue into mental, sensory and muscular. Physiological features of the fatigue and their impact on the development of physical qualities have been grounded. The author has offered three areas of the development of general physical endurance by methods: strictly regulated exercises with standard non-stopping load, strictly regulated exercise with interval load and using the competitive methods.
