Mother tongue in the Ukrainian school: Vasilya Sukhomlinsky and reality

Abstract

In the article the role of native (Ukrainian) language in the Ukrainian National School is examined on the basis of scientific heritage of the outstanding Ukrainian V. Sukhomlynskyy. It’s determining influence upon the formation of nationally linguistic personality of modern schoolchildren is shown.
