Abstract

The specific features of speech development of the preschool aged children in the process of mastering expressive means are studied in the article. The author analyzes psychological processes  of the preschool age children’s development, and reveals the interconnection of these processes with the development of figurative speech. The examples of the most effective tasks for enriching the speech of children are provided
