PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES OF A TEACHER

Abstract

The education system in the Azerbaijan Republic has undergone transformation in the conditions of crisis events such as the collapse of the USSR, the Karabakh war imposed by the Armenian extremists and national- ists, world economic crises. Given the specific nature of the education system in the country, it is recommended to strive to achieve the formation of the teacher's personality with essential human values based on the best pedagogical traditions of the country’s rich historical past and modern learning technologies. Social genesis of the system of education of Azerbaijan has undergone many changes, and, in the conditions of incompleteness of its development process one should always bear in mind all external and internal factors affecting the process. The modern model of education in our country involves the preparation of highly qualified teaching staff, and in case of arising problems, they must be addressed at both the scientific and practical level.
