Abstract

The article scrutinizes professional competence of the manager in education, well-defined not only by basic (scientific) knowledge and skills, but also value orientations of a professional, his/her motives of activities, awareness of him-/herself in the world and environment in general, interaction style with other people whom managers contact, his/her pedagogical culture, ability to develop his/her creative potential.
