FORMATION OF ART EDUCATION IN SOUTH UKRAINE SCHOOLS IN MID. XIX – BEG. XX CENTURY .

Abstract

The article reveals some of the issues for art teachers and art educators in schools of the
South Ukraine on an example of Odessa Richelieu Lyceum, Odessa drawing school, Mykolayiv art
school, Kherson drawing classes of the Association of Fine Arts. Found that in early XXth century
each school had formed and developed traditions that were defined with teaching certain
disciplines artistic and aesthetic cycle, creating a kind of creative atmosphere.
