PROBLEMS IN IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPETENCE-ORIENTED EDUCATION IN THE COURSE OF TRAINING FUTURE LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article attempts to reveal the essence of competence-oriented training and explores
main problems in its implementation in institutions of higher learning. Referring to analysis of
numerous research works, the author proves that competence-oriented training of future language
teachers allows to evaluate not only the quality of their knowledge, but also the changes affecting
the personality of future specialists in the course of their professional training in the higher
education system.
