Abstract

The current state of professional teaching staff training in the Slovak Republic is analyzed in this article. Special attention is paid to bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. The role of pedagogical practice in the educational process of training of students of pedagogical specialities is analyzed. The conclusion is made about the Faculties of Education that provide an integral system of professional teacher training.
