FEATURES OF THE WORK OF PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGY WITH ADOLESCENTS, ADDICTED TO DEVIANT BEHAVIOR IN THE LIGHT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL LITERATURE

Abstract

The features of deviant behavior of adolescents in the light of psychological and pedagogical researches are revealed in the article. It has been established that deviant behavior of adolescents is a kind of behavior in which deviations from the normative standard are established. The activity of the practical psychologist and specialist of the social sphere with adolescents with deviant behavior is relevant nowadays. A crisis of society generates social tension and is characterized by increased social exclusion of the youth, spread of negative manifestations of behavior. It causes the growth of contradictory and complex phenomena. It is noted that deviant behavior is behavioral standard with a significant or minor deviation from the generally accepted norms, which manifests itself in the form of certain actions.

Psychological and pedagogical work with adolescents with deviant behavior in an educational institution should include the following areas of work: study of risk factors; causes and consequences of deviational prevention; behavioral adjustment; organization of leasure; intermediary activity on the involvement of parents, teachers, doctors, police officers etc. Analysis of scientific literature proved that there were various interconnected factors determined the origin of deviant behavior of adolescents. An individual factor act on the level of psycho-biological preconditions of deviant behavior. It complicates the social and psychological adaptation of the individual. Pedagogical factor manifests the defects of school and family education. Psychological factor reveals the unfavorable features of the interaction of the individual with his immediate environment in the family, on the street, in the team. Activity with deviant adolescents involves the development of prevention programs and include a number of various forms and methods of work that are carried out with preventive, diagnostic, correctional purpose in order to prevent and direct the behavior of adolescents in the positive side.
