Abstract

The article deals with the concept, characteristics, features, advantages and disadvantages of strategic management for educational institutions. The review and comparison of various definitions is given. In a wide range of definitions, “strategic management” is defined as a complex of decisions and actions in defining and implementing the priority directions of the educational institution’s development.
