PSYCHOPHYSICAL PREPARATION OF FUTURE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS FOR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

The objective of the article is to conduct a systematic analysis of the basic concepts of the study, to substantiate the importance of psychophysical training, to determine the criteria, characteristics and levels of psychophysical training for professional activity in future physical education teachers. Research methods: analysis and synthesis – to study scientific sources; generalisation of observation results – to substantiate the importance of psychophysical preparation for professional activity and provide recommendations; simulation – to develop the structure of the component; classification and systematisation – to organise knowledge about its implementation. The results confirm previous studies, while expanding the understanding of the main concepts: training, future physical education teacher, professional training, psychophysical training of future physical education teachers, pedagogical activity. The author of the article substantiates the importance of psychophysical training for professional activity, which includes a physical component, a psychological component, professional adaptability, development of the motivational and value-oriented sphere, means and methods of developing psychophysical readiness of higher education students for professional activity. The main criteria for psychophysical training of future physical education teachers include physical fitness, psychological stability, motivational and value-oriented sphere, intellectual abilities, communication skills and physiological indicators. Each of these criteria includes indicators that assess the level of awareness and importance of psychophysical fitness. The levels of fitness are assessed in three grades: low (adaptive), medium (reproductive) and high (creative). Conclusions. Psychophysical training of future physical education teachers is defined as an important component of professional activity, psychological and professional and applied physical training as it combines the development of physical abilities with the formation of psychological resilience. The educational trajectory of the future physical education teacher is complemented by the opportunity to conduct educational and cognitive, research activities along with sports and training activities, allowing students to increase their stress resistance, demonstrate psychological and pedagogical skills, and form professional and personal competencies of the future specialist in planning and organising educational, physical education and health, and mass sports activities in general secondary education institutions. The results of the study confirm the feasibility of introducing psychophysical training into the educational process and provide recommendations for their effective use.
