DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES IN ECONOMIC AND MANAGERIAL TRAINING OF IT SPECIALISTS: BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS

The purpose of the study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications on the use of digital educational resources in the economic and managerial training of IT specialists to identify the main trends, patterns and promising areas of research in this area. Research methods. The search for publications was carried out in the Scopus scientometric database using keywords related to digital educational resources and economic and managerial competencies. Bibliometric and system analysis, cluster analysis, data visualisation and comparative analysis were used to analyse the data. The bibliometric data were processed and visualised using the VOSviewer software. Results. We analysed 78 publications for the period 2011–2025. We found a growing interest in the topic with a peak in 2021 (20 publications). The absence of stable research groups and scientific schools has been established, which is confirmed by the maximum number of 2 publications per author. Leaders in terms of the number of publications (Poland, Italy, USA, Czech Republic, Ukraine – 5 publications each) and citations (Poland – 130, UK – 119, France – 93 citations) were identified. The interdisciplinary nature of the research is revealed, with the largest share of publications in the field of computer science (19.6%), business and management (18.9%), and social sciences (15.5%). Four main clusters of research have been identified: educationally oriented, management and information, technological and digital, and simulation and gaming. Conclusions. The study of digital educational resources in the economic and managerial training of IT specialists is at the stage of formation, which is confirmed by the lack of established research groups and wide geographical dispersion of publications. There is an evolution from traditional educational approaches to technology-oriented teaching methods with an emphasis on the use of simulations and gaming technologies.
