Abstract

The article actualized the problem of the competence-based approach in higher education systems. It is discussed some ways regarding its implementation in the study of the theory of probability and statistics through the use of аpplied tasks financially and economic contents and formation of stochastic competencies in preparing professionals in financial fields.
