EXPERIENCE OF EVALUATION OF QUALITY OF HIGH SCHOOL LECTURERS’ PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE (SECOND HALF OF THE XX – BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY)

Abstract

The article touches upon specification and peculiarities of evaluation of quality of high school lecturers’ professional activity of Ukraine in the investigated period. Criteria of instructors’ evaluation are defined. It was found out that each type of teachers’ professional activity had its specific peculiarities and that influenced the choice of criteria and methods of evaluation. Advantages and disadvantages of existing methods of evaluation are highlighted. Forms of stimulation which were used for high school lecturers’ pedagogical activity in different universities of Ukraine are mentioned.
