Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of cognitive approach to the Ukrainian language studying. Cognitive methodology is based on the concepts-means of ethno-cultural information which is grounded in the language units. The main mean of cognitive methodology is work with a text which is oriented on perception of speech units and formation of students’ communicative competence.
