Abstract

The acticle deals with the notion of cognitive linguistics. The author examines the content of main cognitive parameters of the language and literature teacher's activity: a) improvement of the process of cognition; b) ways of pupil's cognitive abilities development; c) deep linguistic phenomena comprehension; d) interdisciplinary character of cognitive linguistics; e) text interpretation as means of the cognitive approach realization; f) teacher's activity cognitive style. The investigator underlines cognitive peculiarities of human culture.
