Abstract

The main aim of a modern post-secondary education is to form the personality, capable to the self-education during the whole life. The article deals with the characteristic features and structural components of a self-educational competence. The potential of the information-educational environment as a factor of formation of a self-educational competence of future specialists is analyzed.
