Abstract

The article focuses on the problem of family upbringing in the scientific work of K.Ushinsky, who in his works upheld the idea of the determinant role of the social environment in the child’s personality upbringing, had rather a serious attitude to the problems of children’s family upbringing and accentuated the importance of parents’ pedagogical education.
