TRAINING POTENTIAL INTERACTION OF VARIOUS APPROACHES TO THE STUDY UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE IN THE BASIC SCHOOL

Abstract

We found out that transformational processes in education, caused by the present-day
problems, globalization and thoughtlessness of miscellaneous societies, have necessitated
application of progressive approaches which provide a transfer from a ‘cognitive’ to ‘activity’
teaching paradigm, based on the students’ formation of communicative skills so that they can speak
in different speech situations.
