JANUSZ KORCZAK’S HUMANISTIC EDUCATION: THEORETICAL AND PRAGMATIC ASPECT

Abstract

In the article a brief review of the main aspects of the practical implementation of Janusz
Korczak’s pedagogical system leading provisions are represented. Systematize the leading research
on this issue, the author presented an overview of the innovative features of the activities’
organization in the House of orphans, and the principles that became the basis for the practical
implementation of the humanistic ideas of the Polish teacher, forms and methods of educational
influence in this institution.
