Abstract

In the article the concept "empathy" is defined and grounded; the empathy formation level
of students of linguistic and nonlinguistic higher educational establishments is examined in
comparative aspect. It is proved, that the empathy formation level of students of linguistic and
nonlinguistic higher educational establishments is average due to some psychological and social
factors which will be examined in our further investigation.
