THA ABILITY TO OVERCOME FEAR: DETERMINATION CRITERIA AND PECULIARITIES IN PRESCHOOL AGE

Abstract

The article is concerned with the problem of fear, the reason of its appearing and its role in personal development of a preschool-age child. The notions of “ability”, “overcoming” and “ability to overcome” are ana- lyse. The author defines the notions of “the ability of a preschool child to overcome fear”, describes the criteria according to which the levels of this ability are determined, characterises its manifestations in preschool age and impact factors. The theoretical analysis of the interconnection between the problem of fear and the ability to overcome it and the emotional-volitional sphere of a preschool-age child is done.
