Abstract

The article considers specific aspects of the problem of speech development of pupils in the
process of learning the word-building system of Ukrainian. It proves the necessity to elaborate a
profound and well-planned methodology of forming word-building skills and proficiencies in pupils
of 5th – 9th forms.
