CURRENT REQUIREMENTS TO PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF MUSIC TEACHER

Abstract

The article deals with the problem and specifics’ formation of professional and personal values of future teachers’ musical art in the aspect of competence-based approach. The purpose of forming professional competence of future music teachers is revealed, problems of professional training of a modern specialist are highlighted. Requirements for professional and moral and psychological training of music teacher are elucidated. The functional and personal professional-pedagogical competences of the teacher of music are analyzed. On the basis of the analysis of modern musical and pedagogical research on various aspects of competence approach in music pedagogy, the author offers his own interpretation of this pedagogical phenomenon.
