QUALITY OF EDUCATION: TO THE ORIGIN OF A CONCEPT

Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of modern approaches to the understanding of the concepts “quality”, “education”, “quality of education” that are covered in scientific resources; the connections between these concepts are traced. The category “quality of education” in philosophical, sociological, social and pedagogical
contexts is studied. Quality of education is presented as a hierarchical system, and its components are specified.
