TEACHERS OF THE SUBJECT “FOREIGN LITERATURE” TRAINING AS A PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM

Abstract

The problem of training future teachers of the subject “Foreign literature”, analyzes the concept of “prepa- ration” and “willingness” in the context of teacher education. Particular attention is paid to the educational potential of foreign literature as an art form and a medium of national and international moral and aesthetic val- ues, which affect the formation of personal qualities of the student, promotes cultural and aesthetic self-deter- mination and the development of multicultural qualities of the future teacher; the author emphasizes the need to study modern foreign literature and culture for the formation of professional qualities of the future teacher.
