Abstract

In the context of the rapid transformation of higher education, the development of students’ stylistic competence is no longer confined to the linguistic cycle; instead, it is becoming a fundamental element of their overall professional and research culture. Purpose. The article substantiates an interdisciplinary approach to forming the stylistic competence of future specialists during their scientific and linguistic training in higher education institutions. Methods. The study employs the analysis of scientific works on linguodidactics, systematic analysis of educational programs, comparison of training requirements for bachelor’s and master’s levels, and modeling of a system of practical tasks for classroom work. Results. It is proven that the formation of stylistic competence should occur consistently through the integration of language and methodological disciplines. A complex of tasks has been developed for undergraduate students (compiling glossaries, working with analytical matrices of styles, bibliographic description of sources) and graduate students (reconstruction of scientific texts, comparative analysis of definitions, case studies on academic integrity). Emphasis is placed on the necessity of moving the bulk of practical work into the classroom to minimize the uncontrolled use of artificial intelligence tools and develop students’ critical thinking. Differences in academic writing requirements at various educational levels are substantiated: from mastering standards at the bachelor’s level to constructing an author’s scientific strategy at the master’s level. Conclusions. The implementation of an interdisciplinary approach ensures the transformation of stylistic knowledge into a practical tool for scientific research. Studying research methodology in synergy with stylistics allows future specialists to successfully present their own results, adhering to the ethical norms of academic communication and requirements for academic integrity.
