Abstract

The article discusses the features of using a practice-oriented approach to learning in the teaching of physics in general secondary education institutions, which involves students of various kinds of learning skills and abilities, enables them to act effectively and use the knowledge gained in the conditions and realities of today’s life. Conclusions are made about the relationship between students’ interest in the study of physics and their desire to explain natural phenomena from the standpoint of physical theories, the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in everyday life. An analysis of the state of physical education shows that for various reasons, the interest of students in the study of physics is constantly decreasing. The development and use in the educational process of a practice-oriented approach makes it possible to solve the problem of developing students’ interest in physical and technical knowledge, forming strong skills in their practical application. Separately, the components of the methodological system are targeted, informative, procedural and effective. The results of experimental verification of the implementation of the methodological system for the formation of practice-oriented knowledge in the study of physics based on interdisciplinary integration are highlighted.
A qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of the study is given.
