THE ECOSYSTEM OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN EDUCATION

Abstract

Purpose. The article examines the process of digital transformation in education, which is associated withthe integration of digital technologies into teaching and the management of educational institutions. The aimof the study is to analyse scientific assessments of digital transformation, in particular of the educationalecosystem, in relation to the needs of society and sustainable development goals. Methods. The researchmethods include a systematic and comparative analysis of current domestic and foreign scientific publicationsand a summary of international experience in assessing the benefits and risks of digital transformation ineducation. Results. A systematic approach helped to reveal the trends in the formation of a new educationalenvironment, to identify the external and internal conditions of digital transformation, in particular the drivingforces, time limits and cause-and-effect relationships of the transformation process. The result of the workis the identification of the advantages and risks of digital transformation. Simplification of work withinformation, saving resources and time, raising social standards, and creating a digital ecosystem in line withsustainable development are advantages. At the same time, digital transformation requires special equipmentfor the functioning of digital technologies and new approaches to teacher training. Threats exist in the useof electronic digital devices, which requires the formation of appropriate digital competencies and the abilityto critically evaluate the results of educational activities. Conclusions. The conclusions state that the conceptof digital eco-education is the optimal option for digital transformation, as it integrates technological innovationswith the needs of sustainable development, creating a unified system for training a new generation of teachers and students within ethical and legal norms. A promising direction is the creation of a functional model of ecoeducation,where digital management and learning technologies can be combined with the formation of digitalliteracy, social institutions, and student employment.
