Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of some of the latest trends in foreign language
teaching, such as 1) the introduction of the intercultural approach and learning International
English in their combination with the communicative approach; 2) the newest modifications of the
communicative approach; 3) content–based language instruction; 4) blended Internet–assisted
learning.
