Abstract

The problems of the education and formation of a person at the beginning of the Common Era were taken by Christian Church, peculiarly, by the Apostolic Fathers who revealed in the work The Teaching of the Twelve Disciples the essence of the education of a Christian.

The article demonstrates that in the context of the Ukrainian revival the role of the spiritual wealth, that was formed in early days of the pre-Christian character in the Apostolic Father`s philosophical and pedagogical heritage may serve as a valuable educational achievement in the process of the education of a person of high moral standards.
