TO THE PROBLEM OF ETHNOPEDAGOGICAL COMPONENT OF THE UKRAINIAN PEDAGOGICAL THOUGHT OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY
Abstract
Article is devoted to the analysis of formation and development of ethnopedagogical
component of the Ukrainian pedagogical thought in the XIX century as a historical and
pedagogical phenomenon. The author considers the peculiarities of the influence of ethnic
pedagogy as a science on the formation of the system of value orientations of the younger
generation, the relevance of which is stipulated by the modern social transformations. The ideas of
leading Ukrainian teachers and enlighteners of the second half of the XIX century about the
organization of educational influence at the national school, the peculiarities of constructing the
content of education, as well as consideration of the educational potential of ethnographic research
in solving this problem are considered.
