USE OF INFORMATION DOCUMENTS IN FORMATION OF FONETIC COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS-SYNOPSIS

Abstract

The following article describes the importance of usage smartphone applications in teaching chinese pho- netics to the speakers of other languages. The article touches the problem of using applications in the process
of learning Chinese phonetics by students sinologists at the initial level of language competence. The usage
of applications as information support in the learning process is affected. The article analyzes the applications
usage by students in the process of studying phonetics and correcting their pronunciation. The author highleted
the advantages of using applications by students in, and out of the classroom. The following applications were
considered: TutorMing Chinese App, Standard Mandarin, ChinesePod – Say it Right Series, Mimic Method –
The Flow of Mandarin, iTalki and HelloChinese. To date, there is a large number of applications that are avail- able to most students and allow them to remotely fix the studied material. Significant advantage of them is a
quick feedback with the results of learning, which increases their motivation and allows them to independently
analyze where exactly they do not have knowledge and practice.
Consequently, with the development of information technology, the use of applications in the formation of
phonetic competence of students synologists is becoming more and more popular. Existing functional capabil- ities of the application provide students with the opportunity to study and repeat the material themselves and
formulate the correct pronunciation through the use of interactive approaches.
