METHODICAL AND CONTENT ASPECTS OF EDUCATIONAL TRAINING IN THE SYSTEM OF POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION
Abstract
The article covers the methodological and content aspects of teaching environmental monitoring to the environmental specialists in the system of postgraduate education. A special course "Environmental Monitoring in the Context of Sustainable Development of Society" has been developed for the advanced training of the specialists in the system of postgraduate education. The thematic content of the course is developed for three content modules: "Regulatory and legal environmental and nature-resource basis for environmental monitoring", "Theoretical and methodological monitoring in the activity field ", "Analytical and forecasting monitoring by types of activity". The study of theoretical aspects of the environmental monitoring methodology forms the instrumental and environmental competencies of specialists. The theoretical and practical training of environmental specialists on the basis of a competencies approach is described. The structure of a special course content for the improvement of the environmental specialists skills meets the needs and challenges of the modern society, taking into account the components of sustainable development (environmental, social, economic), creates conditions for its continuous updating, taking into account modern research results in the field of environmental studies, technology, education. The learning of this course contributes to the improvement of the personal and professional formation of specialists, development of the further professional competencies: social-personal, general-applied, special-professional competencies.
