UPCOMING PROFESSIONAL WORK IN THE SESTEM OF FORMATION OF PATRIOTISM IN SCHOOLS OF PRIMARY EDUCATION

Abstract

The article focuses on the importance of extra-curricular educational activities in the system of patriotic education of primary education institutions students. It is emphasized that the patriotic education of junior pupils in extra-curricular work involves the formation of patriotic feelings and beliefs in them, the awareness of their involvement in the history, traditions, culture of the native people, the formation of a value-attitude towards children and other people towards the Motherland.

Patriotian education is considered as a component of national education, the main goal of which is the formation of a self-sufficient citizen – a patriot of Ukraine, a humanist and a democrat ready to fulfill his public and constitutional duties, to inherit the spiritual and cultural achievements of the Ukrainian people, to achieve a high culture of relationships.

Today, more than ever, we need new approaches and ways to educate patriotism as a feeling and as a basic quality of personality. This is due to: the integration processes taking place in Ukraine; Eurocentricity; the awakening of civil and public initiative, the emergence of various civil movements; the dissemination of volunteering activities, etc.

Form the child's ability to identify herself as a family member; family, children's group; as a student, a resident of a city or village; to raise her love for her home, country, street, her country, her nature, her native word, life, traditions is important at junior school age.
