АUTHOR'S PROGRAM FOR SHAPING THE ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC TASTE OF THE CHILDREN OF THE YOUNG SCHOOL “УOUR BEAUTY – КHARKIVSHCHYNA”

Abstract

The article reveals the problem of aesthetic education of elementary school students and, in particular, the question of shaping the artistic and aesthetic taste of younger students. In order to deepen the knowledge of the history of the region, its art and increase the creative potential of elementary school students in order to intensify the process of formation of artistic and aesthetic taste, within the framework of the molding exper­iment, we developed and implemented in the educational process a program of aesthetic education "Your beauty – Kharkiv region" that was included in the curriculum of elementary schools of secondary education. The purpose of the study program is to familiarize students of elementary school with material and intangible cultural-historical heritage, the formation of artistic and aesthetic taste of junior schoolchildren on the best examples of the regional cultural-historical heritage of the Kharkiv region; raising the personal responsibility of each student for the preservation, restoration and enhancement of the cultural and historical heritage of the region. It also describes in detail its tasks, the educational-thematic plan, the methods and forms of the various educational activities.

The program consists of separate units: «Slobozhansky motives», «People are gaining strength», «Rainbow of nature», «Fixed music of the city (architecture)», «Fair of literary smog», «Music of knocking into our hearts», «Gallery of magic paints», «See beautiful – create amazing», which includes different topics of the classes.

The forms of events can be as follows: conversations, games, preparation of student mini-reports, research work, oral journals, subject weeks, creative work of traditional calendar holidays, games and events, ethno­graphic intelligence, visiting theaters, museums, exhibitions, concerts halls, historical monuments and other institutions of culture and art, organization of meetings with prominent figures of culture and art of the Kharkiv region, group work and master classes; Some hours should be spent on research work and independent study of the historical aspect and historical periods of the region's development.

The content of the classes gives children the opportunity to feel the world of beauty in general, allows them to develop their creative abilities, to assess the objects and phenomena of the surrounding reality.
