ORGANIZATION OF CREATIVE ACTIVITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION APPLICANTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE CHOIR CLASS ON THE BASIS OF ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Abstract

Goal. The article presents the results of a study of one of the pressing problems of modern society – the formation on the basis of transparency and integrity of young generation of people who can effectively change and improve the social and cultural reality of today. The purpose of the research is to reveal the importance of the principle of academic integrity as the basis for organizing the creative activities of future music teachers in the choral class. Research methods: theoretical study and analysis of the literature on the problem of research, study of pedagogical experience, analysis of the results of educational activities of students, the method of expert assessments, questionnaires, observations; analysis of the educational process. Results. Art education is seen as a favorable ground for the inculturation of young people, their mental, moral and physical development, support the process of socialization, stimulate professional growth to ensure social harmony and prosperity in European integration and human-centered approach in Ukraine. The important place of choral singing in the educational process of the institution of higher education, which effectively contributes to the formation of the creative personality of the future music teacher, is substantiated. Choral singing and teaching choral art in general provide a young person with unique opportunities for the development of performing as well as general academic abilities, raising the level of culture, acquaintance with world and national cultural heritage. The result of involving the future music teacher in choral singing is a strong development of creative personality, acquisition of not only individual vocal and choral skills, but also methodical skills and soft skills in organizing joint musical creativity of preschoolers and practical experience of mastering the latest children's repertoire, development communicative abilities and actualization of children's creative potential. Conclusions. It has been stated that the current rate of professionalization of future artists tends to reduce the level of academic requirements for music repertoire performed by students in the choral class, increase variability in the manner of performance of musical works, and may lead to widespread academic dishonesty. Our own experience of teaching during the choir class was analyzed, as well as a special survey was conducted, during which the need of students to strengthen educational work to explain the principles of academic integrity was identified. It is proved that teachers need to motivate students of pedagogical establishments to musical creativity, while creating conditions for the dissemination of the principles of academic integrity.
