THE IMPORTANCE OF SOFT SKILLS FOR THE FORMATION OF A STUDENT’S PERSONALITY IN PRE-HIGHER EDUCATION AMIDST MARTIAL LAW

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the skills that, in the conditions of martial law, turned out to be the most sought-after acquirers before higher education and helped to build an educational trajectory. The research used the methods of pedagogical analysis, generalization of information, and the materials of the survey of future teachers were presented. The results. Today, one who knows how to communicate, work in a team, has a stable psyche, and a tendency to self-improvement wins the competition. The analysis of the source base of the research indicates the need for fundamental changes in the education process. The article draws attention to the relevance of the formation of the given competencies of education seekers, substantiates the complex of soft skills, which are necessary and pedagogically appropriate in the process of studying at a pedagogical college. Based on the experience of the formation of soft skills during an epidemic situation in the country, ways of solving atypical situations, the ability to respond to challenges in a timely manner, the degree of manifestation of the effectiveness of life skills in conditions of martial law is substantiated. Individual skills and their implementation in military conditions are described, such as: communication skills, time management, emotional intelligence, cognitive flexibility, media literacy, teamwork, self-development. The influence of the consequences of military aggression on academic success, on the communicative manifestations of education seekers, on the degree of manifestation of the levels of soft skills formation is revealed. For research, they play an important role, because we made the assumption that the skills we defined helped the acquirers to build an individual educational trajectory, assess risks and make the right decisions, maintain psycho-emotional and sometimes physical health. Visualization of the results in a graph is provided. Conclusions. The work revealed: future primary school teachers will have high indicators of the formation of soft skills, under the conditions of motivation for educational activities, awareness of the acute need, both for their own development and self-improvement, and for a clear example in the future; provided that the priorities of educational activities are determined, the need for the need to possess soft skills as a ticket to career growth. The duration of the formation of soft skills is difficult to determine and measure, they are constantly being improved. Therefore, the educational process organization system should be anticipatory and innovative.
