INDEPENDENT WORK OF STUDENTS AS ONE OF FACTORS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC COMPETENSE

Abstract

The article reveals the problem of organization of independent work in establishments of higher educa- tion. The marked question is examined in the context of competent education. The state of the investigated problem is analysed in scientific literature, an aim and task are also formed. The aim of the article is to show the importance of organization and realization of independent work of students in the conditions of competent
education. The task is: find out the state of the investigated problem in a modern didactics, to show the features of organization of independent work in a college of economic direction. The problems of organization of independent work of students and ways of their decision are certain.
Questioning of students witnessed that difficulties arose up in the process of search of right literature, wrong usage of Internet-sources, lack of abilities in registration of independent work. Among the prob- lems of organization of independent work we are distinguishing such: individual and psychological feature of students; lack of motivation whick leads to absence of educational activity; not formed enough skills of independent work.
Author has distinguished the stages of organization of independent work: introductory, basic and finishing. On each of them different types of works and possible formed competenses are brought in order to concrete examples. On the first stage there are such types of activity: independent implementation of project, organi- zation of presentations, selection of the most important information in the books; on the second: writing the
reports, performances with a report on practical employment, solving of tasks; on the third: test control, con- struction of diagrams, solving of tasks, modeling the situations of future professional activity. An example of task of creative character is shown. On each of the stages the teacher sets problems and tasks clearly, there is a plan of independent work, stages of implementation, the educational methodical providing is chosen, principles of differentiation and individualization of studies are taken into account.
