Abstract

The priority in the formation of mathematical speech in primary school children is the account of the role of speech in human cognitive activity in general. The article made a brief excursion into the history of the study of the problem of speech, in particular the analysis of verbal thinking of children, where the communication is considered as a form of thinking, take into account external aspects of speech, determined the role of knowledge in the mental development of children and the role of speech, is determined by the method of mathematical speech of younger schoolboys.
