APPLICATION OF THE “TEXT.ATTRIBUTOR 1.0.” SYSTEM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUPILS’ STYLISTIC COMPETENCE IN LEARNING THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE
Abstract
Purpose. The article provides a theoretical and practical substantiation of the possibilities of using the Text.Attributor 1.0. system as an innovative digital tool for the development of students’ stylistic competence in the process of studying the Ukrainian language. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying stylometric approaches in school language education and to identify their potential for fostering a conscious attitude toward linguistic means, developing skills of analyzing texts of various functional styles, and improving the quality of learners’ speech training. Methods. The study employed methods of analysis and synthesis to examine scholarly sources on the formation of students’ stylistic competence and the use of digital technologies in language education. The comparative method made it possible to contrast traditional approaches to teaching stylistics with the capabilities of digital tools, in particular the Text.Attributor 1.0. system. Generalization was used to formulate theoretical provisions and research conclusions. The method of systematization and classification of pedagogical and linguodidactic sources ensured the organization of scientific approaches to the problem. Modeling of educational situations using the Text.Attributor 1.0. system was applied to demonstrate practical possibilities of integrating the digital tool into the process of teaching the Ukrainian language. The prognostic method was used to determine the prospects for implementing innovative digital resources in school language education. Results. It was found that the use of the Text.Attributor 1.0. system in the educational process has a positive impact on the development of students’ stylistic competence. In particular, students demonstrate an increased ability to recognize functional styles of the Ukrainian language, identify authorial stylistic markers, analyze language patterns, and perform content-based and stylistic text editing. Working with automated analysis results contributes to the development of critical thinking, the ability to justify linguistic choices, and the conscious selection of language means in accordance with communicative goals and situations. Conclusions. The study confirms the relevance and перспективність of using the Text.Attributor 1.0. system in the modern educational environment as a means of integrating digital technologies into the process of teaching the Ukrainian language. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of applying stylometric tools to increase students’ learning motivation, develop digital literacy, and update methods of language education. Prospects for further research include integrating Text.Attributor 1.0. with other digital resources, expanding experimental studies to different age groups, and adapting the platform to various types of texts and learning conditions.
