INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN THE PRACTICE OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of using information and communication technologies in the practice of foreign languages teaching for the effective achievement of foreign language competence through various activities. An attempt has been made to prove the importance and necessity of ICT implementation in the educational process. The authors emphasize the importance of using information and communication technologies in the practice of teaching foreign languages. The article introduces the pedagogical goal of using information technologies, developing skills for working with information and developing communicative abilities. In the article an important role is given to use carefully selected educational and additional materials. During which students learn grammatical structure of language, reading and listening skills, develop communicative skills and increase vocabulary. The article offers a review of well-known resources as well as ways of using blogs for learning a foreign language. It is noted that Internet resources allow us to organize the complex development of foreign language competence through various activities, including design and research, and to improve the formation of skills and acquire knowledge and solve problems independently. Educational Internet resources have great educational potential and ensure the development of not only academic skills, but also the improvement of the communicative culture of students in general, thus they provide a new level of education quality. Continuous live communication in a foreign language, interesting authentic video and audio materials, innovative methods and forms of training – all this is the key to successful mastery of the linguistic competence of our students. The authors mention the role of presentations created in the PowerPoint program in the learning process. They emphasize that they are easy to be produced and allow students to create original educational materials that capture, motivate and target students to successful results. New trends and strategies for ICT integration into day-to-day teaching practice are a prerequisite for the modernization of the education system. Today ICT is a driving force and coordinator of the growing globalization in the educational environment. Modern technologies allow us to change the educational process, completely immerse a student in the information and educational environment, to improve the quality of education, motivate the processes of
perception of information and to obtain knowledge
